About The Position
Performs as a team member with the venue hosts, food servers, shift supervisors, and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth, efficient venue operation. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for delivering food correctly to guests in the dining room. Responsible for packaging and delivery to the bar of Take Out orders. Assists Food Servers, as needed. Maintains cleanliness of all side stations and assists with side work, as needed. Performs as a team member with the venue hosts, food servers, shift supervisors, and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth, efficient venue operation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the venue
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Basic English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
