About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Food Runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the Bartenders and Cocktail Servers to the guest quickly.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Work requires 6 months’ previous food server / running experience.
  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Must present a neat and professional appearance.
  • Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
  • Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
  • Nevada Food Handlers' Certification
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public.
  • Requires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Shifts may vary based on business needs.
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food in a timely manner.
  • Ensure food order is correct before serving the guests.
  • Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs.
  • Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.
  • Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
  • Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors.
  • Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.
  • Ensure work area/station is clean and always stocked.
  • Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
