We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Dining Room Manager. As the Dining Room Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure each resident and guest's needs are being met. You will have the chance to positively impact lives by ensuring that every Touchmark resident and guest always has an exceptional dining experience. You will hire, lead, mentor, train and develop our team of dining room staff, teaching them proper dining room etiquette and steps of service, meal handling procedures, and customer service skills so that every experience in our dining room meets and exceeds the Touchmark Gold Standard. You will also be responsible for scheduling and administrative tasks as needed. Have a thorough understanding of what hospitality means and how to provide exceptional service with enthusiasm, care and compassion Be a natural leader who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and leading by example Demonstrate success in managing and motivating a team of employees Enjoys teaching, coaching and mentoring Have the ability to work and make decisions in high-pressure situations Have a strong understanding of dining operations Be well-versed with training and scheduling team members Possess the knowledge and/or ability to follow State and Federal regulations to meet all requirements and residents' rights Be willing to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events as needed; have a flexible schedule Have a thorough understanding of what hospitality means and how to provide exceptional service with care and compassion
