The incumbent in this position is responsible for all sales transactions, bussing tables, cleaning, sweeping, and mopping the surrounding tables and areas as well as retrieving any warehouse orders as needed for the EDR (Employee Dining Room). This role involves creating an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Tejon their choice for gaming entertainment, actively building and retaining guest relations, and acting as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service. The position also entails replenishing and garnishing food on the cafeteria line, serving food, maintaining a neat and sanitary appearance of the assigned work area, serving utensils, and equipment. Ensuring all dishware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and stored properly at the end of the shift, and that unused food items are stored correctly. Maintaining a safe work area by addressing spills and hazards, ensuring stock from the warehouse is put away timely, and keeping the Team Dining Room clean throughout the shift. The role also includes attending and participating in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned, performing work regularly and predictably, and cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
