Job Description To ensure all the equipment and food requirements for the function(s) is available to the waiters at the appropriate time.
Requirements
- One+ years experience as Food Service Attendant/Banquet Server in a upscale hotel or free standing restaurant operation.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of quality food service techniques and standards.
- Certification of TIPs requirements.
- Ability to stand stoop and bend repetitively during entire shift
- Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Prepare for functions on shift.
- Set up Breakdown Stations.
- Assist with Plate up.
- Implement after meal breakdown.
- Set-up back bars with glasses, run glasses, ice, and mixer to bars during functions.
- Keep bars stock with all required items for function, while keeping accurate counts for function
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the back-of-the-house in accordance with the Department of Health.
- All other duties as required
