The Dining Attendant, under the direction and supervision of the Culinary Services Supervisor, is responsible for keeping kitchen and equipment clean, serving meals and delivery according to established procedures. All work is performed collaboratively with and in support of other services offered by St. Joseph's Villa. All work is performed within a systems-based framework and a psycho-educational model. Work is performed safely, effectively, to the highest ethical standards, and in accordance with St. Joseph’s Villa’s mission, values, and guiding principles. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques. Able to safely operate all kitchen equipment and tools. Knowledge of Dept. of Health regulations governing personal hygiene and kitchen sanitation. Some knowledge of nutritional standards and USDA requirements preferred. Knowledge of basic first aid preferred. Valid Virginia driver’s license with excellent driving record. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm Hourly Rate: $15/hr FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
