About The Position

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Digital Web Technologist to develop, maintain, and enhance our web and mobile digital ecosystem. This role is hands-on and highly technical, supporting a large-scale healthcare brand with a strong focus on performance, security, and cross-platform user experience. You’ll work across web, mobile applications, and server environments, helping execute internet and mobile strategies that ensure a cohesive, secure, and high-performing digital presence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience (year-for-year substitution)
5+ years of professional web development experience
3+ years of mobile app development experience, including: Cross-platform frameworks (Flutter) Android (Kotlin / JavaScript) iOS (Swift / Xcode)

Nice To Haves

CMS experience: WordPress, DNN
.NET development experience
Windows Server (including Windows Server 2025) and IIS 10
CI/CD setup experience using GitHub
PHP / MySQL
HTML5 / CSS
JavaScript / jQuery
Web infrastructure, networking, and data security best practices
Experience monitoring publisher forums and deploying timely mobile OS updates

Responsibilities

Develop, program, and maintain websites, internet-based systems, and mobile applications
Design and support cross-platform mobile apps aligned with enterprise digital strategy
Maintain and support Windows and Linux-based servers
Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility
Support CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
Implement updates and upgrades to meet iOS and Android manufacturer requirements
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to support brand consistency and performance
