About The Position

The Village of Mount Prospect Television Services is recruiting for the position of Digital Video Intern for its Communications Division. This position will run for approximately 10-12 continuous weeks and require a minimum of 25 hours per week and pays $16 hourly wage.

Requirements

• Knowledge in studio and or remote shooting and non-linear editing is required.
• The Intern must be able to work independently and be able to work with all levels of business and public contacts.
• The Intern candidate must be a full-time student registered in a broadcast arts program at an accredited college or university.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creation of short subject video programming for YouTube & social media
• Limited general office duties
• Program archiving
• Camerawork for live programming
• Completing assignments with the Director of Digital Communications & the Video Media Specialist
