About The Position

CWI Works provides training and support to help older, low-income job seekers across the US overcome multiple barriers to employment, secure a meaningful job, and remain employed. We focus on jobseekers who have been underserved by traditional workforce development programs including formerly incarcerated individuals, Veterans, and women. OVERVIEW RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ONGOING SUPERVISION, ADMINISTRATION, AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE DIGITAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (DCP), WHICH PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL-GROUP ASSISTANCE TO AGE AND INCOME-ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS WHO NEED HOME INTERNET SERVICE, INTERNET-CAPABLE DEVICES, AND COACHING IN INTRODUCTORY DIGITAL SKILLS TO BECOME EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGY USERS.

Requirements

  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Project management experience.
  • Team Management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry – Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Smart Sheets Word, Excel, and Zoom.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
  • Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in library science, social work, or communication.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, the Internet, operating systems, applications, and troubleshooting relevant solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Candidates must be flexible and able to respond to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Digital Navigation team to ensure individual and department goals and metrics are achieved as defined by the grant project.
  • Leverage Project Management techniques to ensure each element of the Digital Certification Program (recruitment, enrollment, equipment procurement, cohort operations, reporting, etc.) is moving forward along a timeline that facilitates continuous operation.
  • Oversee the recruitment of subgrantees and Job Seekers into the project to ensure that learning cohorts are filled to capacity.
  • Manage communications with subgrantees, vendors,3rd party affiliates and partners.
  • Coordinate the procurement of program supplies. Create purchase orders as equipment is needed and track vendor prices and credits to ensure expenses are in line with budget.
  • Maintain program data requirements as required by the grant reporting requirements and develop data points to measure progress over time.
  • Oversee training databases and digital training platforms to ensure appropriate access is granted and reporting is provided as needed.
  • Identify and collect training success stories.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
