About The Position

The Digital Sales & Customer Experience Technology Director will routinely engage with key stakeholders to address business challenges and lead the development of technology strategies that drive organizational and customer experience success. This role involves directing strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals through innovation, initiative prioritization, and coordinating the evaluation, architecture design, deployment, and management of current and future solutions. The Director is responsible for championing, orchestrating, budgeting, and directing multiple projects simultaneously, providing technical oversight, and ensuring the support and availability of core platform features and integrations. They will be accountable for the overall technical architecture strategy and roadmap, and for resource management of software teams, fostering a culture of innovation and growth. This position requires partnering with business leaders to align solutions with various architectures and identifying opportunities for cost-effective investment in tools, applications, and resources, while also overseeing strategic relationships with external entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, MIC, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or other science or management required
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including outstanding interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Strong collaborative skills in order to facilitate cross-divisional communications and to reach common understanding
  • Ability to drive consistency and accountability across development teams through industry best practices, IT standards and procedures, and security practices
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between systems in the application portfolio as well as their business purpose
  • Strong knowledge of information technology and software development practices
  • Expertise in Salesforce Architecture and Customization
  • Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with other systems, managing data flows and ensuring data integrity within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Expertise in driving user adoption and managing organizational change, ensuring teams effectively use Salesforce tools and feature to meet business goals.
  • Strong understanding in leveraging CX technologies to create personalized, seamless customer journeys across digital channels.
  • Strong ability to communicate with all levels of management concerning a wide variety of systems initiatives and priorities
  • Strong ability to mentor, coach, and motivate software project teams and individual team members
  • Significant experience in systems analysis, design, and architecture

  • Responsible for support and availability of core platform features and integrations, and champions the use of the platform technology available within the organization.
  • Accountable for overall technical architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Responsible for resource management of software teams by motivating, coaching, empowering, and fostering a culture of innovation and risk taking for colleagues.
  • Facilitate the continual growth of colleagues by participating in the creation and execution of personal development plans focused on advancing software and technical excellence and strong emotional intelligence.
  • Responsible for resource allocation for projects in collaboration with business and technology leaders.
  • Partner with business leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, customer experience, infrastructure, business and security architectures.
  • Identify opportunities for appropriate and cost-effective investment in tools, business applications and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
  • Promote and oversee strategic relationships between technology resources and external entities, including vendors and partner organizations.
