Serve as a primary digital reporter covering the Philadelphia Phillies across the full calendar year —Spring Training, regular season, postseason, Winter Meetings and major offseason events. Independently identify storylines, monitor league and team news, gather insights, and produce timely, relevant written content including breaking news, game recaps, analysis pieces, features and columns. Attend games, press conferences, media availabilities, and community events as needed to deliver on-the-ground coverage with strong journalistic standards. Generate enticing, SEO-friendly headlines and compelling storytelling that resonates with Phillies fans and national/international MLB audiences. Contribute to live coverage including real-time updates, social media hits, Q&As, and in-game storytelling across digital platforms. Execute on-camera responsibilities such as standups, quick-hit reports and sponsored elements as assigned.
