About The Position

The Digital Channels Product group delivers online and mobile solutions for the Bank’s clients, including consumers, small businesses, and corporates. As the Senior Digital Product Manager, you will be a thought leader around the execution of our digital strategy and responsible for prioritizing and managing the delivery of the Bank’s online solutions. This role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area but only within the US. How you’ll spend your time: Create product roadmaps for the Digital Channel using industry trends, market research, Voice of Client feedback, and input from key stakeholders. Manage multiple aspects of vendor relationships, especially exerting influence over vendors’ product roadmaps to align with the Bank’s priorities. Hold internal and external technology partners and vendors accountable to deliver online solutions. Analyze and report on channel usage and trends. Partner with teams to create and prioritize features for delivery. Serve as a Channel Subject Matter Expert for internal teams, including Line of Business partners, sales, servicing, and support groups. Educate and communicate with partners on existing channel solutions as well as planned upcoming enhancements and progress regarding planned delivery of roadmap items. Develop and maintain close relationships with Line of Business leaders, working collaboratively to understand and validate market needs and opportunities. Define and create segment specific online solutions, balancing client needs while mitigating risk. Work closely with other Product Managers to deliver new functionality and capabilities through the Digital Channels. Identify and partner with key vendors, fin-techs, etc. to develop and expand the go-to market offerings. Partner with internal departments (compliance and legal) to ensure that all product features and functionality meet company and regulatory standards. Ensure all internal and external product documentation and due diligence is current. Be an advocate for change and process improvement within and beyond the digital product team. We’re excited to talk if you have: An undergraduate degree and 7+ years of product management experience and 5+ years digital channel experience OR any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience to gain influence and cross functional consensus. Experience interpreting market and financial data to align strategies as well as build innovation around the products. Success in prioritizing your daily workload to meet expected deadlines. Proven history of results leading teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to plan. Crafted strategic plans as well as translating those plans into action resulting in successful implementations. Successfully prioritized product backlogs by assessing the value, effort and risk of various items, including new features and functionality, channel enhancements and improvements, project cross impacts, defects and bug fixes, etc. Created compelling business cases for digital channels, including accurate assessment of ROI based on income related to increased deposits, and/or revenue, and/or interest. Experience in Financial Services or a related field. Solid understanding of Payments, inclusive of P2P, B2C, C2B and B2B payments. Experience leading channel or system conversions and/or upgrades.
