The Digital Product Designer will be a core contributor to the evolution of Four Hands’ digital product ecosystem, helping deliver intuitive, inspiring, and high-performing user experiences across our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, digital merchandising, marketing, creative services and cross-functional partners to translate insights and business goals into thoughtful, elegant design solutions. This role is ideal for a designer who excels in interaction design, visual design, and UX problem-solving—and who is energized by building within an emerging, growing design discipline. Guided by the Associate Director of Digital Product Design, you’ll help uphold design excellence, contribute to a scalable design system, and play a key role in shaping how our customers engage with our brand digitally.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience as a UX/UI, Product, or Digital Designer (or similar role)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, including interaction design, visual design, and system thinking
  • Experience designing for web and responsive/mobile environments
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred) and familiarity with design systems
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React) is a plus
  • Experience in B2B, eCommerce, retail, or SaaS environments is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality design deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI
  • Translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive, and accessible digital experiences
  • Contribute to the evolution and governance of our design system, ensuring consistent application across products
  • Apply user-centered design principles to solve problems and elevate end-to-end experiences
  • Bring thoughtful visual design craft and interaction design best practices to every stage of the process
  • Provide mentorship and support design intern(s) by providing feedback, guidance, and collaboration to help develop their craft, confidence, and understanding of real-world product design.
  • Incorporate insights, user feedback, and behavioral data into design decisions.
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design across all touchpoints.
  • Balance customer needs with business objectives to deliver holistic and scalable solutions.
  • Work closely with product managers to clarify requirements, define success metrics, and co-shape product strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, implemented accurately, and optimized post-launch.
  • Participate in design reviews and cross-functional critiques, clearly communicating rationale and trade-offs.
  • Support the Associate Director in presenting work to stakeholders and contributing to cross-functional planning.
  • Help maintain and enhance the design system through component creation, documentation, and guidelines.
  • Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and processes that support efficiency and design quality.
  • Participate in team rituals that support alignment, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Support a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented design culture.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and emerging trends with the team.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to elevate our digital experience and push creativity within constraints.
