About The Position

Digital Planning and Activation Specialist is responsible for integrating digital promotional priorities and media plans into monthly planning processes, ensuring effective allocation across various channels like email, SMS, and push notifications. They collaborate to develop and execute personalization strategies, leveraging advanced segmentation and channel mix to optimize messaging. This role emphasizes a mobile-first approach, partnering with ecommerce and design teams to maintain best practices. Additionally, they lead the execution of promotional content, coordinate campaign setups, and ensure seamless communication of channel strategies during weekly meetings.

Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of omni-channel, or related marketing experience is preferred
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Digital Promotional Priorities and Media Plan to support the monthly planning process, providing executional inputs and channel allocations by business across email, SMS, and push notification to enable coordinated cross channel CRM execution.
  • Collaborate with CRM leadership to execute approved personalization strategies, including advanced segmentation, channel mix, and message hierarchy, ensuring accuracy and consistency across channels.
  • Ensure all CRM content is executed with a mobile first approach, partnering with ecommerce and design teams to apply established best practices during build and QA.
  • Lead execution of campaigns across CRM channels, translating approved strategy into executable offers and promotion setup across email, SMS, and push.
  • Uphold service level agreements to ensure timely intake, creative turnaround, launch readiness, and post campaign readouts, while serving as the single source of truth for calendars and ensuring all details are accurate and current.
  • Manage creative workflows, ensuring channel requirements are documented, communicated, tracked, and that proofing, approvals, and status updates remain visible to stakeholders.
  • Support creative kick off documentation and channel setup, assisting with the accurate build of all offers and promotions planned for each CRM campaign.
  • Attend weekly alignment and creative kick off meetings, ensuring executional details are captured and reflected in shared tools to support timely and accurate delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform operational hindsight reporting to support insight generation and execution optimization.
  • Conduct routine competitive assessments to inform executional enhancements.
  • Analyze industry trends and recommend execution-focused CRM improvements.
  • Participate in continuing education and training as appropriate.
