About The Position

The Digital Operations Associate supports a range of photography assignments, upholds established workflows, and assists with updates to the Thunder’s website and mobile app to keep content fresh, accurate, and engaging. Depending on department needs, responsibilities may focus more on digital asset support or on photography assignments. Success in this role requires collaboration, adaptability, and creative thinking in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will: Manage timely updates to the website and app during game nights and key events, ensuring content syndicates across multiple channels while collaborating closely with the Manager of Lifestyle & Brand Photography Serve as a resource for departments across the organization, streamlining workflows to meet real-time needs such as game night and event coverage, brand-driven visuals, and internal digital updates Assist the Director of Digital Operations & Content Strategy with maintaining, organizing, and expanding the digital photo archive to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and strong brand impact Uphold the accuracy and polish of all published content, from photo metadata to live web updates, ensuring brand integrity across all touchpoints Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities while managing multiple priorities simultaneously Perform other duties as assigned What you bring to the role: Skilled at working across websites, apps, and digital platforms where brand visuals live, with hands-on experience using content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress, for publishing and maintaining platform content Experience with video content creation or motion photography is a plus Works collaboratively across departments in support of leadership, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution Understands how photography translates lifestyle, culture, and identity into meaningful fan experiences, with background in styling, art direction, portrait photography, or creative direction Familiarity with marketing and advertising campaigns is an advantage Excels under the pressure of game nights and live event demands, responding quickly and confidently to shifting priorities Additional details: This hourly role reports to the Digital Operations Lead and requires 16–30 hours per week, including regular office hours and game nights, which may occur on evenings, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location will be in the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with frequent in-arena activities involving exposure to loud music, crowd noise, and flashing lights. Events may take place in indoor or outdoor venues with varying temperatures. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for occasional local travel. The role also includes physical demands such as carrying and setting up photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and tripods.
