About The Position

The Digital Merchandising Manager at 7-Eleven is responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing online product presentation to enhance the company's digital shelf, drive sales, and boost consumer/shopper engagement. This role leverages data analytics to improve product discoverability, manages product listings, coordinates with marketing teams, and develops strategies for various e-commerce platforms, websites, and mobile applications. The position requires a blend of analytical, technical, and creative skills, along with the ability to stay current with digital trends within the CPG industry. The manager must understand the consumer and shopper journey in an omnichannel environment to ensure 7-Eleven's product portfolio is available where, when, and how consumers desire it.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in digital merchandising solutions, retailer e‑commerce platforms, web analytics, and content management

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize product detail pages (titles, descriptions, images, and content) across digital channels, including websites and mobile apps.
  • Align digital merchandising solutions with shopper marketing plans, brand, portfolio, and customer strategies for assigned vendor partners.
  • Partner with internal and external marketing partners to lead the development of integrated campaigns across in‑store, digital, and marketplace platforms.
  • Manage linkage with syndication platforms such as Salsify and Syndigo to enhance PDP presentation.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as conversion rates, traffic, and user behavior to inform merchandising strategies and drive data‑backed commercial decisions.
  • Improve product discoverability and site navigation through strategies such as optimizing search logic and category structures.
  • Partner with the 7NOW app team to develop customer-enhancing shopping features.
  • Develop solid digital merchandising plans to build momentum and drive business results.
  • Collaborate with Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Vendor Partners, and other teams to conduct continuous optimization based on performance and evolving shopper trends.
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration, influence, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop engaging presentations and deliver insights to audiences of all sizes.
  • Create linkages between internal and external, global and local, and risk and opportunity to drive business results and long‑term shopper loyalty in an omnichannel environment.
  • Understand what controls and monitoring need to be implemented to ensure 7-Eleven is always digitally compliant.
