As a Digital Merchandiser Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing brand communications through Walmart Inc.’s eCommerce platforms. This internship offers the opportunity to learn how to improve B&G’s online presence, enhance content scores, and understand the analytics behind retail media campaigns. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, supporting projects that optimize digital campaigns and drive growth. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented student who wants to explore the world of retail media and digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Senior Year of a Bachelor’s program (Marketing, Business or related field) required
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Interest in digital marketing, eCommerce, or retail media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Walmart systems (Retail Link/Scintilla) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Retail Link/Scintilla is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing B&G product listings, descriptions, and pricing on Walmart eCommerce platforms.
  • Support the maintenance of content scorecards and help prepare reporting updates for the sales team.
  • Learn retailer requirements and assist in delivering content for new item launches at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
  • Help with item content and new item creation in Walmart’s Supplier One platform.
  • Gain exposure to auditing digital shelves and analyzing competitor content.
  • Participate in weekly reporting reviews to identify opportunities for content improvement and eCommerce growth.
  • Collaborate with internal digital merchandisers on content creation for GDSN and Syndigo.
  • Join brand marketing meetings to observe and contribute to discussions on content and retail media strategies.
  • Explore continuous improvement practices in digital marketing.
