About The Position

Resurrection has an opening for the Digital Media Team Director in our Resurrection Experience division! The position is full-time, exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Please see below for a full job description. Job Summary: The Digital Media Team Director works with the Marketing and Engagement teams to support and enhance the Resurrection Experience by developing clear and consistent strategic messaging through all digital platforms to reach various internal and external audiences and for the purpose of engaging them in a faith journey with Resurrection that guides them to practice the five essential practices of the Christian life.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing or relevant field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a digital media specialist.
  • Expertise with digital platforms including websites, targeted emails, and apps.
  • Understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics and analytics.
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content relevant to them.
  • Familiarity with web design, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Back-end basics, testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

  • A strong mastery of digital media as a communication medium including understanding and experience with the latest advancements in web technology.
  • Collaborate with creative content team to write and edit copy for print materials, digital media, scripts for TV and radio ads, promotional material, and other assigned projects.
  • Work with client ministry leaders to define the target audience and goals of client ministry programs, events, and initiatives and then develop a comprehensive marketing plan to create awareness and engagement based on the defined target audiences and ministry goals.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage the execution of engagement plans in collaboration with various RXP teams.
  • Assist with message creation, editing and writing to support church-wide and program-focused promotion plans, campaigns, etc. to engage new participants and deepen the involvement of existing participants.
  • Responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of Resurrection’s YouTube and Social Media strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and client-ministries to develop and implement the Vision 2030 digital media goals across all church platforms.
  • Responsible for the strategy of location eNewsletters and all churchwide email communications.
  • Collaborate with the Software, Date and Engagement team to capture and measure engagement metrics across all platforms used in marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible for 1:1, trimester review, and time off requests for direct reports.
  • Responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of Resurrection’s website and new technology strategy.
  • Works collaboratively with the Graphic Design team to ensure quality of all digital and/or print digital media pieces.
  • Other duties as assigned.
