About The Position

We are looking for a Digital Media Specialist who is creative, versatile, and passionate about visual storytelling to join our Office of the President. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to create compelling content across multiple platforms, from video production and graphic design to social media campaigns and podcast scripts. Strong multimedia production skills are essential, along with experience in video editing, graphic design, social media management, and copywriting. The ability to seamlessly transition between different creative disciplines and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be key to your success in this role. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area. Requirements

3-5 years of professional experience in digital media, content creation, or related field
Proven portfolio demonstrating video editing capabilities
Strong background in graphic design with examples of completed projects
Experience developing and executing social media campaigns
Demonstrated copywriting skills for social media and promotional content
Experience writing scripts for podcasts or other audio/video formats
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Strong skills in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments
Ability to work on-site in Raleigh, NC office 2-3 days per week

Nice To Haves

Experience with Figma for collaborative design work
Familiarity with Frontify or similar brand management platforms
Knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools
Experience with motion graphics or animation
Understanding of SEO and content optimization principles
Basic photography and photo editing skills
Passion for the video game industry
Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms and purposes
Design graphics and visual assets for digital campaigns, social media, and marketing materials
Write engaging copy for social media posts, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns
Develop scripts for podcast episodes and other audio/video content
Ensure brand consistency across all media outputs
Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms
Create platform-specific content optimized for engagement and reach
Monitor social media trends and incorporate relevant insights into content strategy
Collaborate with team members to align media content with broader marketing objectives
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Coordinate with stakeholders to understand content requirements and objectives
Maintain organized asset libraries and documentation
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives
