About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for guiding marketing efforts using new media and digital tools. This position develops, implements, and manages digital advertising campaigns that promote Loveland Living Planet Aquarium and its mission. The Specialist must have strong knowledge across digital platforms including META, TikTok, and Google (Performance Max and Search), with the ability to successfully lead, execute, and optimize campaigns. In addition to advertising, the Specialist will analyze visitor behavior through post-visit surveys, create actionable reporting, and manage the Aquarium's community event calendar, maintaining communication with partners to ensure smooth coordination and promotion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience managing paid campaigns on META, TikTok, and Google Ads.
  • Adept analytical skills with the ability to create performance reports and actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a structured team environment.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing digital advertising platforms and demand-side platforms.
  • Experience creating and optimizing SQL reports for integration with automation tools.
  • Experience working with post-visit or customer survey data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage all aspects of the Aquarium's digital advertising campaigns.
  • Recommend, plan, and execute digital advertising buys across META, TikTok, and Google Ads (P-Max and Search).
  • Maintain a digital dashboard of advertising accounts, ensuring performance tracking and optimization.
  • Analyze campaign data and create detailed reports that inform ongoing strategy.
  • Monitor key digital marketing metrics and adjust campaigns for peak performance.
  • Manage and report on post-visit guest survey data to uncover trends and insights.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timelines and goals are aligned across departments.
  • Maintain the Aquarium's community calendar and communicate with partners regarding upcoming events.
  • Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Aquarium's digital presence.
  • Conduct market and guest research to gather insights into audience behavior and preferences.
  • Apply research findings to refine targeting, improve engagement, and optimize campaigns.
