About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Retention Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the execution of email campaigns and mobile messages that utilize best practices to drive continuous improvement of the program. The Specialist will execute with excellence by utilizing impactful marketing planning and collaboration with e-commerce and creative partners while ensuring email and mobile marketing production schedules remain on target.

Requirements

  • BA in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience required.
  • 2-4 years professional experience, within digital or email marketing, or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the project manager for hundreds of email campaigns from concept to deployment to performance analysis.
  • Strategically determines production schedule, assigns key dates and directs a team of creative designers, copywriters, HTML developers and Web QA analysts with intent and focus of each campaign.
  • Merchandises and secures relevant, successful product for all campaigns by working with e-commerce partners and utilizing Google Analytics and Tableau, as well as historic email results/data.
  • Responsible for all product information (including keying pricing and special offer information) and imagery.
  • Partners with eCommerce to determine key sales points, ensure alignment to event/programming messaging and ensure images are available in accordance to email timeline.
  • Creates complete, detailed creative briefs and independently directs copy, design and HTML teams with core focus of each campaign.
  • Routes all campaigns for necessary departmental review (including e-commerce final approval) vendor (where applicable) and legal approvals.
  • Set up and execution for weekly mobile messages.
  • Establishes ongoing communication with ecommerce partners to understand strategy and offers.
  • Review email campaign results as provided by Salesforce, Google Analytics and Tableau.
  • Partners with the Campaign Management team to obtain the appropriate customer list to launch via email system (Salesforce).
  • Monitor to confirm 100% completion.
