About The Position

Responsible for developing and executing the digital marketing strategy for a Hy-Vee store or market, utilizing various tactics including social media, digital media advertising and email marketing.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and interact with people in a friendly, professional manner.

  • Ability to identify problems, develop and execute solutions.
  • Must be able to report, write, or edit articles for publication; interview, counsel or advise people; and evaluate technical data.
  • Ability to interact with basic computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet and email applications, as well as job-specific programs.
  • Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
  • Must be able to physically perform sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Internet Marketing, or related area, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with internet marketing, search engine marketing, SEO, pay-per-click advertising, budget management and web analytics.
  • Five years of similar or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and executes various digital promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintains a detailed digital content calendar.
  • Develops original content for day-to-day social media posts.
  • Maintains store presence across social media platforms and Hy-Vee.com.
  • Performs consumer research into the digital media space.
  • Delivers analytics and results to Store Directors on a consistent basis.
  • Educates and trains other team members on digital media best practices, as needed.
  • Collaborates with marketing leaders at corporate office on company-wide digital initiatives.
  • Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
