About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist, Lifecycle, will captivate both past and prospective guests, nurturing their interest through each stage of the journey, both before and after reserving a voyage with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. This role will leverage our CRM, data partners, email marketing platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and analytics systems to identify relevant segments, execute appropriate messaging strategies, optimize programs, and deliver reports on email marketing efforts. In keeping with the cross-functional nature of our digital marketing team, this position will also collaborate with, and advocate for the guest experience alongside, professionals responsible for analytics, social media, paid digital advertising, and digital product management.

Requirements

  • BA or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing
  • Proficient in email/template development; email coding experience (HTML, CSS, etc.) is a plus
  • Understanding of enterprise-level email marketing platforms, including marketing automation capabilities
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud experience preferred
  • Strategic thinker and outspoken advocate of guests’ digital experience interests
  • Strong writing and grammar skills, proofreading abilities, and copywriting
  • Detail- and deadline-oriented
  • Team player, self-starter, able to function with little supervision, high-energy
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Tableau experience is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Travel/hospitality industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day email marketing calendar and brief development for internal and external teams to maintain consistent, effective email marketing collateral.
  • Develop and deploy email templates in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, employing industry best practices to ensure flawless execution.
  • Monitor and optimize the existing booked guest email journey to promote booking retention and ensure future guests are well-informed and excited for their upcoming voyage.
  • Create segmented email lists and set up A/B tests and other designed experiments.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of all email campaigns (marketing and operational communications) through campaign monitoring and reporting.
  • Support the company’s CRM database growth and development, including contacts, tasks, and marketing automation platform data integration.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends on a consistent basis.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure the RCYC brand is communicated correctly and consistently across all digital marketing channels.
  • Manage purchase order creation and follow-up to ensure timely processing and payment for vendors.
