About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the evolution of the product across multiple dimensions, working with key internal and external stakeholders. This position works within Sentry's hybrid work model and is eligible to work out of our Stevens Point, WI, Madison, WI or Nashville, TN office locations. As a Digital Marketing Product Owner, you will be responsible for conducting analyses of market trends, voice of customer feedback/metrics, and funnel data to define a differentiated product vision. This role will provide a goal-oriented focus in delivering high impact and complex customer-facing digital/technology solutions that enable the organization to achieve its business objectives and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, with a strong focus on KPIs and metrics preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Proficiency with JIRA or other agile development workflow tools, along with digital road mapping solutions preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cloud products, architecture, microservices, and concepts preferred.
  • Experience in data-driven products and iterative development preferred.
  • Understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital solutions and trends.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple customer-facing digital/technology products.
  • Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies, managing data and tech projects, industry standards and best practices.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the market, users, and landscape of digital products and applications.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with ability to transfer knowledge and work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical aptitude with the ability to analyze information, interpret results, formulate conclusions and provide strong consulting.
  • Experience fostering a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and operational planning— as well as successfully execute against a variety of product initiatives across all stages of a product's lifecycle, including early product planning, customer research and validation, roadmap planning, product development sprints, piloting, gaining early adopters, product launch, metrics analysis, and post-launch iteration.
  • Define product strategy and vision and then develop a creative, high-quality, and clear product roadmap.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analyses into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Identify objectives and key results and analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to recognize key pain points and opportunities to address.
  • Gather information and data to guide build-buy-partner options to solve customer problems.
  • Serve as the “translator” for both the customer and market, as well as internal stakeholders, including but not limited to business lines and cross-functional teams.
  • Understand how and when to leverage design thinking, UX, and other frameworks into the process for a flexible hybrid methodology that fits the team, product, and customer.
  • Prioritize initiatives and get commitments from internal stakeholders using excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Mentor and grow more junior members of the team.
  • Collaborate across business, technology and user experience, including with leadership, project teams, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to create change-transformation deliverables.
  • Oversee customer and user empathy collaboration; identifies pain points and evaluates opportunities to solve them, determining what gets built to support product; leads with broader decision making within product suite.
