About The Position

The Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting in the execution of marketing activities as it pertains to brand growth and B2B marketing efforts. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will report to the Marketing Manager and be focussed specifically on digital marketing, content creation, and event coordination. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and can take initiative on growing the Belmar brand. The main goal of the Digital Marketing intern is to build a consistent and professional brand presence across all mediums.

Requirements

  • Ability to take initiative, critically think, and manage marketing projects from beginning to end
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) email marketing applications (e.g. Mailchimp)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled student) in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent work experience
  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms and web/social media management and measurement tools (e.g. HootSuite, Google Analytics)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in B2B marketing, video editing, web design and/or graphic design is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing Team to refine B2B marketing strategies and best practices
  • Identify market and consumer trends through data analysis - keep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
  • Create and publish blog posts to our website gathering input and feedback from the team
  • Assist in managing social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Website, YouTube, Glassdoor, Indeed) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging
  • Conduct customer interviews for purposes of producing customer success stories
  • Ensure proper messaging and branding guidelines are being executed online across all engagement platforms
  • Plan and co-ordinate Webinar events
  • Assist with creating and designing print and digital materials
  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
  • Assist in other duties as needed
