Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Passionate about social media, digital storytelling, and emerging technology.
  • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
  • Data-curious and eager to dig into performance metrics to uncover what’s working.
  • Excited to experiment with AI and learn how it can supercharge marketing.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Curation: Help plan and produce engaging, platform-specific content for social media (Meta, LinkedIn, NextDoor, etc.).
  • Create visually compelling assets (think images, reels, graphics, and snappy copy) for paid and organic campaigns.
  • Write blog articles that support SEO and content marketing efforts.
  • Digital Marketing & Strategy: Assist in planning and executing digital marketing strategies across channels.
  • Support the development and management of a social media calendar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Events, Sales) to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Research industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • AI Integration & Innovation Experiment with AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, and Canva’s AI features to boost content creation.
  • Research best practices for incorporating AI into digital marketing workflows and share insights with the team.
  • Pilot AI-driven processes for copywriting, image generation, and trend forecasting.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on performance metrics for social media, blogs, and campaigns.
  • Interpret data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Help create weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights.
