About The Position

Assist the digital marketing team in planning, organizing, and executing web, email, and social campaigns related to Keeneland’s business lines – Sales, Racing, Keeneland Shop, Keeneland Hospitality, Keeneland Select, and the Keeneland Library. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •    Regularly create and update content on Keeneland.com and other website properties as directed by Keeneland’s digital team. •    Assist in creating and implementing campaigns across web, email, and social media. •    Assist in project management and trafficking of creative assets for use in digital tactics.  •    Assist in generating content in support of business objectives across web and social media. •    Assist in coordinating and deploying email marketing campaigns. •    Attend meetings with Marketing team and the agency to observe how campaigns are developed from strategy to execution.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Integrated Strategic Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience & familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage projects and meet deadlines; creative and flexible.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to follow Keeneland’s policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in the equine industry preferred.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems, specifically Drupal, a plus.
