About The Position

Vortex is a leader in Doors/Security Products, Storefront Glass/Glazing, Access Controls, and Material Handling Equipment for Commercial, Industrial, and Retail Facilities. These products and services are in high demand across all business sectors. As part of its expansion, Vortex is offering a full-time Digital Marketing Intern position. Candidates must reside in the United States, with a preferred hybrid work arrangement out of the Irvine, CA headquarters, though fully remote U.S. based candidates are eligible. This intern will support the Vortex marketing team by executing day-to-day marketing activities and contributing to key projects. The role is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience across various digital marketing areas, aiming to build strong foundational skills in execution, organization, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Current student or Recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in digital marketing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Proactive, dependable, and responsive
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tools like WordPress, Canva, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Google Search Console)
• Exposure to project management tools (e.g., Asana)
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Jasper, SurferSEO)

Responsibilities

• Support execution of marketing initiatives across channels, including website, email, and outbound campaigns
• Assist with content creation and updates for marketing and sales materials
• Help gather, organize, and maintain marketing assets and information from internal teams
• Contribute to ongoing marketing projects by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time
• Assist with documenting processes and improving how work is completed across the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing and business initiatives
• Perform general marketing support tasks as needed
