About The Position

Myriad Genetics is seeking a Director Digital Marketing to lead its centralized digital marketing function across the enterprise. This role owns the strategy, execution, and optimization of all digital demand-generation and performance marketing activities across Myriad’s product portfolio, including Health Management, Precision Oncology and emerging growth platforms. Operating within Myriad’s centralized marketing model, this leader will run the team responsible for digital advertising, CRM, and onsite strategy across product areas, ensuring scale, consistency, efficiency, and measurable impact. The role blends strategic leadership with a hands-on performance orientation and close partnership with product marketing, commercial, medical, and analytics teams. This is a high-impact leadership role for a modern digital marketer who thrives in both regulated healthcare and fast-paced consumer healthcare environments and knows how to balance speed, compliance, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing.
  • Proven experience leading centralized digital marketing or performance marketing teams.
  • Deep hands-on expertise across: Google Ads and paid search SEO and organic growth strategies Website optimization and digital user experience CRM-driven digital marketing (email, nurture, audience targeting) Social across platforms for both HCPs and patients
  • Strong track record of managing agencies and significant digital media budgets.
  • Experience operating in regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or adjacent sectors) and in operating with consumers
  • Experience navigating healthcare privacy challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multiple products or business units within a centralized model.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance considerations (HIPAA, privacy, promotional review processes).
  • Strong analytical orientation with comfort using dashboards, attribution models, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own Myriad’s enterprise digital marketing strategy, aligned to commercial priorities across all product areas.
  • Drive measurable growth through paid digital advertising, including Google Search, Display, YouTube, and other performance channels.
  • Establish clear performance targets, dashboards, and optimization cadences tied to pipeline impact, demand, and ROI.
  • Drive onsite strategy improvements sourced across organic (search and social) and paid social channels to increase engagement, leads, and conversion.
  • Lead a centralized team responsible for: Paid digital media (search, display, retargeting) SEO and organic search performance Onsite optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO) CRM-integrated digital programs (email, nurture, audience targeting) Paid and Organic Social Landing page strategy and optimization
  • Ensure consistent standards, tools, and best practices across product lines while allowing flexibility for product-specific needs.
  • Own relationships with external digital and media agencies, including strategy alignment, performance management, and budget oversight.
  • Set clear agency KPIs and hold partners accountable for outcomes, not just activity.
  • Evaluate make-vs-buy decisions to balance internal capability and agency leverage.
  • Partner closely with: Product Marketing and Brand teams Sales and Commercial Operations Medical, Legal, and Regulatory partners Analytics and Marketing Operations
  • Ensure all digital programs meet regulatory, privacy, and brand standards while maintaining speed to market.
  • Leverage CRM and marketing technology platforms to enable audience segmentation, targeting, attribution, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Use data and insights to continuously test, learn, and optimize digital performance.
  • Translate performance data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team in a centralized model.
  • Establish clear roles, operating rhythms, and career paths for digital talent.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
