About The Position

Are you deeply curious about how businesses grow? Passionate about experimenting, iterating, and architecting campaigns and strategies that scale pipeline faster? We’re hiring a Marketing Director (Top of Funnel) to lead our digital demand generation strategy and drive measurable revenue growth as Gravitee scales. You’ll report to the VP Growth Marketing and partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, GTM Engineering, Sales, and Product. A core part of this role is leveraging AI everywhere, not as a side tool, but as a first-class capability. You’ll use AI tools, automations, and agents to help the marketing function move faster and operate smarter. From accelerating campaign buildout, to understanding attribution and performance, generating insights, and maximising ROI on our digital investment to deliver scalable AI-driven motions, you will champion a culture where AI amplifies human performance across the business. You’ll own the strategy and execution of Top Funnel programs that attract, convert, and nurture technical audiences across channels. This is a strategic and hands-on role for a data-driven leader who knows how to market to technical decision makers in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • AI Native - proven track record of hands-on experience using AI to drive efficiency, productivity and innovation in digital marketing/top of funnel marketing. Passion to master AI as a marketing tool but also as a core organic route to market through answer engines/llms.
  • 3-5+ years in B2B SaaS digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of digital funnel optimisation, demand gen, and revenue-driven marketing.
  • Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, engineers, IT, product teams).
  • Strong hands-on experience with paid acquisition, SEO, marketing automation, and web strategy.
  • Proven track record scaling digital programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret complex data and make fast, informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS, AI-enabled systems, or open-source communities is a plus, but a "growth mindset" and curiosity matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the global top of funnel marketing strategy aligned with growth goals (SQLs, pipeline and revenue)
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing digital marketing team (paid, SEO,AEO, automation, web).
  • Define KPIs and performance frameworks to measure effectiveness across the funnel.
  • Build multi-channel demand generation programs that drive SQLs, and qualified pipeline.
  • Oversee paid acquisition across search, display, social, retargeting, intent platforms, and ABM tools.
  • Work closely with the GTM engineering team leveraging AI to implement intent-based and account-centric digital programs tailored for complex B2B buying cycles.
  • Combine initiatives in all organic channels specifically AEO/SEO, growing Gravitees organic presence exponentially measured by quality traffic/leads generated.
  • Partner with product marketing/content engineering team to define and create assets for the entire funnel.
  • Leverage AI to Ensure digital distribution maximises reach and conversion.
  • Work with the Go To Market director to oversee email marketing, journey building, lead scoring, and behavioural nurture flows.
  • Ensure integration and optimisation of Martech stack (HubSpot, Clay, etc.)
  • Partner with RevOps to ensure clean data, accurate attribution, and clear visibility into marketing ROI.
  • Own website strategy and performance, including UX, conversion paths, and technical SEO/AEO.
  • Lead continuous A/B testing and CRO initiatives to improve engagement and conversion rates.
