About The Position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creation, execution and management of marketing campaigns on multiple digital platforms to engage the public, communicate property events, activities, mission and help drive revenue and brand awareness for the attractions, hotel and golf course. Campaigns include, but are not limited to social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing strategies and analysis along with the creation and execution of quarterly and monthly social media calendars and digital marketing reports. This position is also responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of the website through its Content Management System. This individual should be energetic and comfortable being in front of a camera conducting interviews and communicating to the public as the social media persona of Moody Gardens. He/she will work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and property goals.

Requirements

  • College Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required with desired two years of experience.
  • Must be personable, reliable, and responsible
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of Adobe software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, MS Office software required
  • Knowledge of digital marketing techniques and methods

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HTML and Adobe Premiere is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop promotions which help to increase the fan base and generate sales
  • Daily interaction and tracking of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and all other social media to improve engagement
  • Monitor, analyze and respond to digital account profiles such as Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp, etc.
  • Assist with updates to website CMS and responding to guest email inquiries
  • Assist with the creation of current and search-engine optimized content that authentically engages the public to grow the fan base
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic with goals to consistently promote growth
  • Create quarterly and monthly social media calendars
  • Generate quarterly and monthly marketing digital marketing reports
  • Coordinate with partners and vendors for digital marketing revenue and tracking
  • Design subscriber and member newsletters as needed
  • Create graphics, photography and video for social media and website, as needed
  • Assist with photographs and coordinating photo shoots on property, as needed.
  • Ensure communication is consistent cohesive with branding efforts
  • Process Marketing requisitions and billing records as needed
  • Conduct guest surveys periodically and provide survey analysis
  • Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens
