About The Position

Fathom’s Associate Development Program is a paid, high-impact summer experience designed to develop future digital marketing leaders. We’re looking for motivated, curious, and team-oriented college students in the Cleveland area who want hands-on experience in paid media, SEO, and marketing automation—while being mentored by some of the best in the industry. As a Digital Marketing Associate, you’ll play an active role in building and optimizing campaigns, uncovering insights that drive client outcomes, and contributing to the culture that makes Fathom a top Workplace in Northeast Ohio.

Requirements

• Are currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, Analytics, or a related field.
• Have demonstrated teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in past roles or projects.
• Bring strong written and verbal communication skills—and enjoy presenting your ideas.
• Are naturally curious with a desire to learn new tools, channels, and strategies.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Support Client Work & Campaign Excellence
• Participate in internal and external strategy discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Support the launch, QA, and ongoing optimization of digital campaigns across paid media, SEO, and marketing automation.
• Conduct channel, content, and competitive audits to uncover opportunities for performance improvement.
• Analyze campaign performance data and connect insights to client business objectives and KPIs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies (A/B tests, messaging, targeting, landing pages).
• Document findings clearly and present recommendations to team members and mentors.
• Learn, Grow & Contribute
• Engage in structured learning sessions on digital marketing, analytics, healthcare marketing, and client success.
• Contribute positively to our team culture—collaboration, curiosity, and commitment to excellence.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and consistently deliver error-free work.
