About The Position

The Digital Marketing Assistant is a new position focused on ensuring community occupancy remains high through social media engagement, online ad placement, and direct outreach. You will run ads, create or review content to ensure it meets company guidelines, and support other digital projects aimed at increasing occupancy across our communities. As technology and platforms evolve, your day-to-day responsibilities may also evolve. This is a full-time, in-office role (40 hours per week) in a professional office environment, with occasional travel to remote properties or company events, which may include physical activity. Nights or weekends may occasionally be required, and travel may occur alone or in small groups.

Requirements

  • Basic experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing.
  • Experience in design (Microsoft Office or Canva).
  • 4-year degree in digital marketing-related field or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, etc.).
  • Real estate experience.
  • Experience in mass/batch generation of collateral.
  • Basic knowledge of Wordpress, HTML, or PHP

Responsibilities

  • Place digital ads, including Google AdSense, Meta for Business, etc., applying marketing and advertising expertise
  • Create marketing collateral including banner ads, copy, and physical print material, leveraging marketing design and content creation skills using Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva
  • Ensure company posts follow established guidelines while maintaining high-quality content across social platforms
  • Identify digital trends and insights to optimize ad spend and engagement
  • Update various housing and marketing websites, applying knowledge of current digital platforms
  • Assist in online reputation management (Birdeye platform) using digital marketing best practices
  • Complete assigned training to continuously improve marketing and digital skills
  • Update company website (Wordpress) integrating marketing content and design principles
  • Help support company events, including digital promotion and collateral creation
  • Travel occasionally to remote properties or event locations, applying competencies in digital content support in varied environments
