The Digital Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and deploying data-driven and digital solutions that improve operational performance, increase process visibility, and support continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role bridges manufacturing, data, and technology, translating shop floor needs into practical tools, applications, and insights that enable better decision-making and measurable performance improvement. The position is intentionally structured within Engineering to establish digital manufacturing as a core capability, while working cross-functionally with Continuous Improvement, Operations, and Manufacturing Engineering. This role is expected to both respond to identified needs and proactively identify opportunities to improve operations through digital and data-driven solutions. Success is measured by operational impact and adoption of solutions, not solely by development of tools or analysis. This role requires regular engagement on the shop floor to understand process firsthand, validate opportunities, and ensure solutions are practical and sustainable. Daily work direction and project prioritization will be coordinated by the Engineering and QA Manager in collaboration with the Industrial Systems & Manufacturing Engineer (ISME) and Continuous Improvement leadership. This role prioritizes solutions that improve throughput, visibility, quality, labor efficiency, and decision-making.
