The Digital Skills Instructor is responsible for delivering and instructing UnidosUS’s Digital Skills for Life (DS4L) program. DS4L is a 20- hour foundational digital literacy training that covers the basics, including internet exploring skills, communication skills, social media skills, computer hardware skills, apps, software and websites, safety/security, problem solving, and digital content creation. Digital Skills Instructor will take the lead in implementing the program and providing outreach, recruitment, pre and post assessment, delivering the curriculum and goals, supporting learners and data collection as well as reporting data. This position reports to the Adult Education Services Manager. This is a(n) ONSITE position. The Digital Skills Instructor applies the principles of the organization’s signature service delivery approach, Primary Client Model (PCM™), by promoting a positive employee/client-focused experience that is appreciative of the unique strengths, values and needs that each individual brings; and by using data to inform and drive decision making. Attention is given to compliance, quality assurance, and best practices as they relate to the role.
