This Digital Experience & Interactive Design role is the "Digital Architect of the Human Interface," reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Experience. This role will help shape the next generation of the SUSE digital interface, including dynamic, personalized content and emerging interaction models such as AI-powered search and conversational web interfaces. The mission is to move beyond static web design into creating digital interfaces where humans and autonomous AI agents collaborate to solve enterprise challenges, applying the principles of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Cognitive Psychology to ensure SUSE’s technical sophistication is matched by an elite, seamless digital experience.

Requirements

• 8-10+ Years in UX/Product Design or HCI: Proven experience in a high-growth SaaS or infrastructure technology company, with a portfolio showcasing complex journey orchestration.
• Mastery of the Design Stack: Expert-level command of Adobe, Figma, interactive prototyping tools, and modern design platforms.
• Technical Fluency: Ability to understand cloud-native architectures, APIs, and data structures to better design the interfaces that manage them.
• Human Centered Design: Expert at delivering visually compelling web experiences and universal design system to reflect the brand promise of SUSE.
• Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen (Advanced): Understands the direct correlation between UI friction and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC); aligns design strategy with 3-year revenue targets.
• Analytical Reasoning (Advanced): Expert at using behavioral data (heatmaps, scroll depth, A/B testing) to iterate on design variations to improve the digital funnel.
• Executing (Advanced): Drives systemic efficiency in the design-to-development handoff; ensures that "Creative DNA" is preserved through technical implementation.
• Self-Awareness (Advanced): Recognizes their role as a high-influence specialist; models the SUSE values of Choice, Innovation, Trust, and Community in every digital journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of next-generation digital interfaces where users interact with autonomous AI agents, defining how dynamic content modules and AI-powered discovery work together in conversation interaction models (Agentic UI Design).
• Create "living" digital environments and build high-fidelity interactive prototypes that demonstrate the real-world value of the SUSE portfolio (Interactive Prototyping & Service Design).
• Craft visually stunning interface experiences that transform dense technical concepts into intuitive, high-impact narratives, making SUSE’s value and ROI immediately visible to prospects (Data Storytelling & Visual Intelligence).
• Partner closely with the UX Governance Lead to identify and resolve critical digital friction points, contributing interface design expertise to high-impact decisions that optimize conversion velocity (Conversion-Centric UX Governance).
• Partner deeply with Brand, Product, and IT to build consensus across matrixed organizations to ensure a unified "One SUSE" design language is maintained across every pixel (Cross-Functional Design Influence).
• Act as the "Internal Design Consultant" for the global digital team, establishing the standards for the SUSE digital design system including accessibility, mobile-first responsiveness, and performance-centric design (Mentorship & Design Standards).
