You would be responsible for creating, testing, integrating and maintaining hardware designs for tactical radios. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field of study required.
  • At least 5-7 years overall experience in designing products with significant digital hardware content.
  • Good understanding of Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, SOCs, Programmable Logic and Memory.
  • Working knowledge of associated analog and power hardware such as audio/video and SMPS circuits
  • Knowledge of high-speed busses such as LPDDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet.
  • Knowledge of low-speed peripheral busses such as SPI, I2C, SMBus
  • Proficiency in software tools of the trade: Schematic Capture, PCB layout, Digital Timing Simulators, Signal Integrity Simulators
  • Experience designing for manufacturability and test
  • Demonstrates documentation skills and proficiency with PC office applications.
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong initiative, proactive work ethic and prioritization skills.
  • Trustable judgement and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops system and module level requirements and specifications.
  • Designs and simulates digital circuits and systems, including associated analog and power circuits
  • Creates required design documentation.
  • Verifies and Validates product performance through debug, test and analysis at the component, module and system level.
  • Leads small project teams, mentors junior engineers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Develops relationships with team members built on trust and respect.
