About The Position

Ever wonder how Carl the Flamingo manages to flawlessly live stream his high-stakes mixology sessions without the internet imploding? It’s because he started learning how to be a Digital Developer in his free time. However, Carl’s getting too busy to both code websites and shake cocktails. So we’re looking for a skilled Digital Developer to join our squad, allowing Carl to focus on what he’s really good at: mixing tasty mojitos!!
This role acts as a link between the E-commerce and Systems teams. You’ll manage our digital infrastructure across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok, ensuring every customer journey is smoother than a frozen daiquiri. When you aren't fixing pesky pain points, you'll be providing on-the-spot dev support among various departments. So if you can wrangle the digital world the way Carl wrangles a blender, you’re exactly the interwebs expert we’re looking for!

Requirements

• 4+ years proven working experience in Digital Development
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Loves coding! Lives for coding! Can’t get enough of coding!
• Thinks the greatest trifecta of all time is HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
• Loves the work more than a paycheck
• Thinks planning and organizing are fun
• Loves to create order out of chaos
• Is happy to give away credit to their team
• Loves getting and giving feedback
• Is into personal growth
• Thinks Fun is doing great work (not just partying)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the E-commerce and Systems teams to ensure seamless cross-departmental collaboration
• Serve as the Marketing team's personal tech wizard, providing on-the-spot dev support
• Maintain the technical infrastructure and code base across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok platforms
• Work cross-functionally to understand user journeys and fix those pesky customer pain points
• Translate design specifications and mocks into high-quality, functional builds
• Flex your dev muscles by coding within our various data systems and platforms to keep the gears turning
• Implement regular website updates to optimize and improve the overall consumer experience
• Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our developing and coding initiatives
• No direct reports – you get to lead the coding charge, without managing your fellow flamingos
• This role is in the E-Commerce team and will report directly to the Director of E-Commerce
• Perform other related duties as assigned
