We are looking for a Digital Content Supervisor to oversee the strategy, development, and performance of our digital content. In this pivotal role, you will lead a talented team of content creators, developers, and merchandisers, driving the creative vision for the UPLIFT Desk website and our Amazon presence. You will thrive in a high-velocity environment, organizing and managing a heavy rotation of detailed Google Doc mockups to ensure they translate flawlessly to the live site. Working closely with our Web Development Supervisor, you will ensure that our content is not only compelling and SEO-optimized but also technically sound and structurally efficient. You will balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring that every product page, blog post, and landing page aligns with our brand voice and delivers a seamless, high-converting customer journey.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in content strategy, ecommerce copywriting, or digital merchandising.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and hold a creative team accountable.
  • Deep expertise in SEO best practices, keyword placement, and optimizing content for site speed and performance.
  • Strong eye for design and layout, with the ability to curate visual assets that complement written content.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Shopify) and CMS tools (e.g. Contentful).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management software, such as Asana.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing content for Amazon Seller Central.
  • Familiarity with headless CMS platforms like Contentful.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop the Content Team: Manage the day-to-day workflow and performance of content creators, content developers, and merchandisers, providing coaching, accountability, and support to maintain high standards.
  • Drive Ecommerce Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that enhances the customer journey, driving acquisition, retention, and loyalty across the UPLIFT Desk website and Amazon channel.
  • Manage High-Volume Production: Oversee a rigorous Google Doc-to-site workflow, ensuring a large volume of content mockups are accurately translated to the web with pixel-perfect precision and zero data loss.
  • Oversee Product Page Excellence: Ensure all product descriptions, specifications, and features are accurate, engaging, and visually appealing. You will own the customer journey, ensuring that customers can find the right products and fully understand them.
  • Master SEO & Discoverability: Write, edit, and optimize clear, concise copy for new and existing pages, incorporating keyword strategies to maximize organic search visibility and rankings.
  • Ensure Technical Content Health: Perform regular site speed and content audits to ensure assets meet technical requirements (e.g., optimized image sizing, proper structural hierarchy) without relying on developers for content fixes.
  • Create Visual Impact: Collaborate with the multimedia and photography teams to curate best-in-class imagery and video for "A+" content, ensuring visual storytelling aligns with written copy.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as the bridge between Marketing, Product, and the Web Development Supervisor to ensure content initiatives are technically feasible and aligned with broader company goals.
  • Optimize the User Experience: Utilize data and user feedback to refine landing pages and content layouts, ensuring a friction-free path to purchase.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Serve as the guardian of the brand voice across all digital touchpoints, ensuring consistency in tone and style for diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Prioritize business cases, requirements, and user stories to keep multiple content projects moving simultaneously on schedule.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
