About The Position

Van Leeuwen is looking for a full-time Digital Content Creator to take the brand’s digital footprint to the next level across social-first platforms and beyond. We are seeking a creative who’s plugged into internet trends with a finger on the pulse of the social landscape; your love for content creation should be as evolving as your FYP. ⟳ The Digital Content Creator will be responsible for developing high-quality and mouth-watering videos and images for web, social, marketing materials, press and other major platforms. You will be well versed in all touchpoints of content creation: conception, storyboarding, execution, food styling, editing and publishing. You will work closely with our Social & Partnerships Manager and Graphic Design Manager to develop thumb-stopping content that maximizes our reach and engagement. This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office three days a week.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years experience in a Content Creation role (in-house experience required)
  • Excited by the opportunity to experiment creating new types of content
  • Experience in capturing photo and video content, ideally with an emphasis on food
  • Ideal candidate has experience with food styling and an eye for visual presentation
  • Savviness to social trends to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site when opportunities arise
  • Enthusiastic self starter
  • Detail and process oriented
  • Knowledge of industry standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut) to create engaging and polished final products
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canon C70, iPhone

Responsibilities

  • Ability to create solid video compositions while adhering to brand guidelines across various platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboard ideas for video content that resonate with strategy and increase benchmarks such as site traffic, sales and audience engagement
  • Produce high-quality videos showcasing ice cream flavors, menu item launches and brand ethos
  • Brainstorm innovative and captivating video series, tutorials, recipes, and other engaging formats to promote brand visibility and engagement
  • Ability to capture pixel-perfect lifestyle, product and event imagery to use as promotional material
  • Assisting in photoshoots: videography, BTS footage, etc.
  • Image editing tasks, such as cropping, resizing, retouching, and color adjustments, to enhance the visual appeal of designs across both print and digital collateral
  • Coordinate video shoots including location scouting and equipment setup
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
  • Nimbleness and adaptability to real time changes while capturing footage
  • Support the marketing team in the development and design of digital assets including email, social graphics, in-store, grocery and digital advertisements
  • Ensuring and maintaining visual brand consistency across all design projects such as internal/external decks and presentations
  • Ability to prepare and review files for print production, ensuring accuracy and quality
