About The Position

The Digital Channels Senior Manager is responsible for shaping and strengthening Baker Hughes' global brand by establishing a differentiated digital strategy and associated digital platforms. Baker Hughes provides technology and solutions to industrial and energy customers worldwide, with over a century of experience and a global footprint in more than 120 countries. The company is focused on rewriting The Energy Equation™, making energy safer, cleaner, and more efficient for people and the planet. This role involves leading the development and execution of a long-term digital strategy, owning the corporate website, delivering a fresh and absorbing social media program, identifying and implementing modern marketing technology tools, collaborating across the company to ensure a holistic digital plan, and supporting strategic business priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital strategy and channel management
  • Proven experience with digital strategy, website architecture and cross‑functional stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and written communication skills
  • Strong curiosity about new ideas and how things work together

  • Understanding of the importance of storytelling
  • Strong project leadership and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Establishing a differentiated digital presence
  • Leading the development and execution of the long-term digital strategy, specifically defining elements, strategic thinking, quarterly deliverables, and execution plan within a two-year framework
  • Maintaining dashboards and reporting mechanisms to evaluate performance and effectiveness across all digital channels
  • Owning the corporate website
  • Developing differentiated content that demonstrates Baker Hughes’ leadership in rewriting The Energy Equation
  • Contributing to the design of the site with insights from digital performance data
  • Representing updated brand architecture as it is developed on the website
  • Ensuring world-class search engine and generative engine optimization for the corporate website
  • Directing the production of a differentiated social media program that enhances Baker Hughes’ role in rewriting The Energy Equation, creates brand awareness in traditional and new markets, and drives website traffic
  • Identifying and implementing tools and technology to support strategy
  • Constructing and launching a unified set of modern tools and technology (“martech stack”) to manage stakeholder journeys across Baker Hughes by working across the company to assess needs and understand capabilities and constraints
  • Collaborating within the BMEC team and across the company to ensure that the digital strategy incorporates and addresses all region- and segment-specific situations and challenges, aiming for a strategic and holistic digital plan that engenders brand awareness and reputation around the world
  • Incorporating the digital strategy and narrative into ongoing work related to the Six Strategic Priorities
