About The Position

We are supporting a local bank seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance their Digital Banking platforms, including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Online Account Opening. This role is highly operational in nature and serves as the primary liaison for day-to-day production support, high-severity issue resolution, and production analytics. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience supporting client-server or SaaS applications, strong operational BA expertise, and hands-on experience within digital banking environments. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure platform stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting client-server or SaaS applications.
  • Strong experience in operational BA functions, including requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Proven ability to lead production issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting digital banking platforms (Q2 strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with compliance, audit processes, and risk assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within financial services or banking environments.
  • Exposure to PMO processes, project coordination, or release management.
  • Experience with structured requirements frameworks and BA tools.
  • Prior experience supporting 24x7 production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Digital Banking systems (e.g., Q2 platform).
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-priority production issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, managing issues through resolution.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business units to resolve system issues.
  • Maintain and support system interfaces, APIs, and data integrations.
  • Configure system parameters for new products, services, and security updates.
  • Test system releases, document defects, and track issues prior to production deployment.
  • Maintain application documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Conduct internal training sessions and mentor junior analysts.
  • Ensure systems comply with regulatory requirements, audits, and risk controls.
  • Review and approve business requirements.
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support new platform releases, enhancements, and services.
  • Implement minor configuration changes and manage small-scale initiatives.
  • Coordinate the transition of new functionality from implementation to steady-state operations.
  • Run operational and production reports.
  • Analyze trends, discrepancies, and system performance metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to product management and business partners to support decision-making and optimization.
