The Lebanon API Manufacturing facility will be digitally enabled from start-up with fully digital and integrated production processes and systems. To support and enable the running of this plant, a robust Digital Plant Analyst is required. This role will have the responsibility of partnering with IT and business to help define the digital roadmaps for each business area. They will need to work with the stakeholders in Lebanon API and the global Manufacturing & Quality (M&Q) organization to ensure delivery of the solutions prioritized for LP1 at start-up. The Digital Plant Analyst is responsible for delivering the strategy and helping set up the teams and processes for its continued expansion, maintenance, and support. They are also responsible for delivery of solutions — in partnership with other IT SMEs — utilizing site IT capabilities that will enable the efficient running of this facility. What You'll Be Doing The Digital Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with digital and technical solutions for the Lebanon API site. The focus of the Digital Systems Analyst role is to serve as an integrator between business and technology, ensuring digital solutions meet business needs. The Digital Systems Analyst will partner with business stakeholders and local and global IT teams to define requirements, prototype, implement, and validate digital solutions. How You'll Succeed Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes at the Lebanon API site, applying knowledge to digital solutions that support those processes. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations. Accurately translate business processes into technical terms and vice versa. Oversee the configuration, installation, and validation of digital systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Build and leverage a strong understanding of corporate computer system validation requirements according to Lilly quality standards. Support the business in a technical capacity with application configuration, data accessibility, integration design, and BI reporting. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business users, technical teams, and project managers. Work to enhance the digital literacy of the site to ensure ongoing support and innovation around the use of technology to enable business value. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with IT solution delivery, business analysis, digital integration, or a similar hybrid role.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in a pharmaceutical GxP environment.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a GxP regulated environment.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code development platforms (Tulip, Power Apps, etc.).
  • Experience as a power user of quality, engineering, or health and safety applications (Veeva, Maximo, Autodesk Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience with analytics or business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), such as FDA regulations for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Solid knowledge of the computer system validation process.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve complex issues (technical, operational, or business-related) through sound problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and intellectual curiosity.
