The Communications Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student or recent graduate to assist with organizing and managing digital media assets during the busy summer event season. This role offers hands-on experience working with real-world digital asset management systems used by a large nonprofit communications team. As a Temporary Digital Asset Assistant, you will help organize photos, videos, and media from events and campaigns so they can be easily searched, accessed, and used by teams across The Salvation Army Eastern Territory. This position is ideal for students interested in communications, marketing, media production, digital libraries, or information. WHAT YOU'LL GAIN • Hands-on experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems • Experience organizing and tagging real media from large-scale events and campaigns • Exposure to nonprofit communications and marketing operations • Collaboration with writers, designers, video producers, and digital teams • Practical experience working with metadata, media libraries, and digital workflows This position is part-time up to 30 hours per week, is onsite and expected to begin at the end of May and end in mid July 2026.
