About The Position

The Digital and Technology Enablement Lead for the Private Bank will drive the strategic adoption and integration of digital solutions and technology platforms to enhance client experience, optimize operational efficiency, and accelerate business growth within UOB's Private Banking division. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities, ensuring seamless implementation and effective utilization of digital tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital transformation, technology enablement, product management, or a similar role within the financial services industry, with at least 3-5 years specifically in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing complex digital projects and technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of private banking business models, client segments, and product offerings (e.g., investments, lending, trust services).
  • Familiarity with wealth management platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), client portals, and digital communication tools.
  • Understanding of data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the digital and technology roadmap for UOB's Private Bank, aligning with global private banking trends and the bank's overall digital strategy.
  • Act as a key stakeholder and product owner for various digital platforms and tools (e.g., client portals, wealth management platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools) used within the Private Bank, guiding their development and enhancement.
  • Serve as the primary interface between Private Banking business stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, Operations) and IT/Technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice-versa.
  • Lead initiatives to drive user adoption of new technologies and digital solutions through training, communication, and ongoing support, ensuring maximum value realization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline private banking workflows, automate manual processes, and improve overall operational efficiency and client servicing.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and fintech partners to evaluate, select, and integrate third-party solutions that enhance the Private Bank's digital offerings.
  • Work closely with data teams to leverage client data and analytics for personalized client engagement, product recommendations, and business insights.
  • Ensure all digital solutions and technology implementations adhere to regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal risk policies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital trends, fintech innovations, and competitor activities in the private banking and wealth management space.
