The Center for Global Development, an independent think and do tank that works to reduce global poverty and improve lives through innovative economic research, is seeking a talented Digital and Social Media Manager. Reporting to the Head of Digital, and working closely with the Head of News, and sitting within the Communications Team, this role will raise CGD's digital profile by developing content strategies across social media and newsletters, increasing online engagement, and supporting broader strategic communications objectives. We are looking for a self-starter who feels passionate about CGD's mission and can translate complex economics and policy research into compelling, accessible content. The right candidate will own CGD's social media presence and paid campaigns, brainstorm creative and fresh ways of showcasing our work, dig into performance data to understand what's working, and stay tuned into platform changes and emerging opportunities. This role will also support CGD's newsletter program and contribute to organizational efforts on impact measurement and reporting.
