General Summary: This role works in partnership with the Principal Digital Adoption Leads and journey stakeholders to drive adoption and engagement across Unum’s digital platforms. This role primarily acts as a project manager for tactical outbound adoption campaigns while coordinating digital content creation and supporting the field to improve the end-to-end user experience across internal or external audiences. You will help execute on digital awareness initiatives, synthesize data to craft compelling adoption stories, and equip stakeholders with omnichannel resources to promote digital behaviors along with client platform readiness. With a primary focus on cross-functional partnership, this role leverages established enterprise and field-level strategies to effectively direct customers toward sustained digital engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant business experience required
  • 5-7 years of experience with digital product development and/or digital transformation marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with adoption strategies for digital properties, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and content management.
  • Detail-oriented project planning and execution with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel under tight timelines
  • Ability to apply a holistic adoption strategy across numerous customer channels
  • Diverse communication skills that include visual storytelling, actionable data interpretation, and the creation of concise, effective presentations.
  • Collaborative, creative mindset with sharp critical thinking skills to help problem solve and strategize out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Understanding of digital product functionality, business operations, and user behavior, remaining abreast of upcoming new features to identify potential adoption opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with marketing automation, content management, and project management platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Monday.com would be beneficial.
  • Experience using data tools such as Google Analytics, FullStory, Tableau, and Power BI to inform campaign strategy and the design of tactical assets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of overarching strategic roadmaps in partnership with the Principal Digital Adoption Lead.
  • Foster stakeholder relationships across one or more sub-journeys.
  • Support Digital Adoption Leads in the and implementation of omnichannel campaigns, including email, SMS, web, print, and IVR.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Digital Adoption Specialist and/or Principal Leads to align cross functional partners by helping coordinate campaign initiatives, goals, priorities, milestones, and consistent messaging.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of enablement assets, resource libraries (e.g., AskUnum, Client Portals, Fox), and onboarding materials.
  • Capture actionable feedback from the field, clients, and target audiences to continuously improve Adoption assets.
  • Support content and messaging customization for target audiences, stakeholders, or product updates.
  • Collaborate with Production team to create, enhance, and maintain a diverse array of tactical campaign assets.
  • Help Sr. Digital Adoption Specialist to facilitate educational sessions and walkthroughs for field, client, or internal audiences.
  • Aid in maintenance of project tracking tools and asset compliance reviews.
  • Stay informed on digital platform changes, industry trends, and competitor strategies to inform engagement strategy.

  • Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
  • $80,630.00-$165,500.00
  • Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
