About The Position

Position Highlights: Position: Dietitian Location: Linden Oaks- Naperville Per Diem Hours: What you will do: Develops and implements a care plan based on assessment of nutritional needs. Utilizes relevant data and appropriate methods for estimating nutritional requirements. Provides effective nutritional management for all age groups. Updates the plan of care as needed based on changes in the patient’s medical condition. Counsels patients, families and/or groups on prescribed diets in an individualized manner, utilizing a variety of educational materials. Assumes primary responsibility in the Eating Disorder Program for patient meal planning, nutritional snacks, meal preparation and cooking. Insures that meal plans/dietary cards are prepared for patients 7 days a week. May participate in multi-family meals and co-facilitate nutrition education groups for patients and families. Works closely with Food Service Management in the design and implementation of balanced meal plans for identified client base that includes Diabetic, Anorexic, Bulimic and Obese. What you will need: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field Certification: Current State of Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist licensure (LDN) within ninety days of start date into position. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential (RDN) Experience: A minimum of six months of Eating Disorder and/or Diabetes experience Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire Benefits (For full time or part time positions): Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
  • Current State of Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist licensure (LDN) within ninety days of start date into position.
