About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Dietician to join our team. This full-time position will be responsible for coverage in Northern Summit county. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing personalized nutrition and dietary advice to our clients. You will assess their nutritional needs, develop customized meal plans, and educate individuals on the importance of healthy eating habits. Your expertise in nutrition and your ability to provide practical guidance will be crucial in helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
Excellent knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and meal planning.
Strong understanding of various health conditions and the impact of nutrition on these conditions.
Experience conducting nutritional assessments and developing individualized meal plans.
Proficient in analyzing and interpreting blood work, medical history, and other relevant data.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective counseling and education.
Ability to establish rapport with clients and motivate them to make positive changes in their eating habits.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to evaluate residents' dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle.
Develop personalized meal plans based on clients' nutritional goals, dietary restrictions, and health conditions.
Provide individualized counseling and education to clients on proper nutrition, portion control, and healthy eating habits.
Monitor residents' progress, make adjustments to meal plans when necessary, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure holistic care for residents.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
Participate in professional development opportunities, such as conferences and workshops, to enhance knowledge and skills.
Maintain accurate and detailed resident records, including nutritional assessments, meal plans, and progress notes.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice.
