About The Position

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing and supervising the nutritional need of the patients, providing age and developmentally appropriate diet planning and education and assuring quality nutritional care is provided to all patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Parkwood Behavioral Health System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Master Degree preferred
• Prefer one year of clinical dietitian experience in a healthcare environment. Prior work with a mental health population strongly desired.
• Maintain current registration with the American Dietitian Association as a Registered Dietitian
• Prefer knowledge of age appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritional counseling and education, dietary planning and food and drug interactions.
• Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skill in provision of services to varied population of patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.

Nice To Haves
